1/4/2023 0 Comments Doc back to the future![]() ![]() Marty only jumped because he knew it would allow Doc to see it and travel back in time to catch him right before he falls. ![]() But this allowed Doc the ability to be able to see exactly where and when he needed to be to help his friend. Marty went to the casino and stepped off the ledge to his death. They could have planned to meet on the roof, but I think things went differently. Now I know they had to have discussed a plan before they went in, but Marty only had limited knowledge of the casino and Biffs current personality. Ultimate Doc Brown is based on his 1955 appearance in Back to the Future with 2 interchangable heads portraying a generic expression and the iconic shocked expression. He then takes a leap of faith and steps off the ledge. Right before Marty steps off he looks down but never seems to sure about what he is going to do. Speaking of the death of Marty, I always found middle of second movie, where Marty confronts Biff leading to their confrontation on the roof, very interesting. I think he killed Marty because it was the only way to not screw up the universe anymore in his mind. I'm guessing that instead of longing about the day he bumped his head, he changed his speech to "Man, I would really like to see Dinosaurs, or see the Earth in its early days (when the air was poisonous). Not include Marty at all, but have to deal with two Martys in 1985B.īy sacrificing MartyB, he avoided any further disruptions to the space time continuum. This way, when Marty comes back, the timeline remains altered only once, and not twice. Kill MartyB and assume that the calculations were correct and that he was successful in 1955 in sending Marty forward. Set the DeLorean to November 1955, let MartyB go back, and risk him running into MartyA from the original timeline, or risk him fucking things up because his 16 years of life experience differs greatly from that of MartyA He watched the DeLorean disappear, so he's making the assumption. He knows that he probably successfully sent MartyA to 1985B. So Doc has to decide "What's the best way to go about this?" More unwanted changing of history (a now-inherently positive Marty with great parents is now going back - not the original loser Marty) ![]() This is what's going on in Doc's head: If I let Marty of 1985B go back in time to 1955 before the timelines split, will there be an issue? So - Doc knows all about when he's got to finish the Time machine, and gives himself a deadline, unfortunately never got around the pissing-off-the-Libyans things, and includes Marty. This is either a large coincidence, or Doc intervened because he was obsessed with not changing the course of history (even though that's all the fucking do for 3 movies - what a hypocrite). Amazingly, they live in the same house, Marty's dating Jennifer, and he's friends with Doc Brown. A number of things are different in Marty's family. Marty McFly, a teenager from 1985, accidentally sends himself to 1955 in the time machine his friend Doc Brown built out of a DeLorean, and requires 1.21. But in 1985A, where Marty's Dad is a loser, his mom is fat and all that, Marty goes back in time and unknowingly changes the past. ![]()
